This is just abut the most beautiful thing I have seen in ages. i had chills running down my back as I read the words--your quilt is drop.dead.gorgeous!
LOVE your quilt. And I love what you wrote to Tonya, You are right, until you try it, you won't know what you are going to get. I'm still pushing the sides of the box that I live in, but I did do the liberated amish challenge. Love your choices of words! Congrats on the blue ribbon!
Well done! I've been a crooked quilter ever since I saw Gwen Marston on TV about 10 years ago. Improv is improv and you never quite know what you'll get, but that's the fun of it. Your word quilt is a huge success. Love the name of your blog. I am starting two projects for every one I start and don't know what to do about it. Ha ha. http://talkischeapquilts.blogspot.com/
This quilt is absolutely awesome. I love everything about it. Everything! It warms my heart. Now I want to go make one like it. Congratulations on the ribbon!
I am joining the above chorus with a hip hip hooray! WOW! Wonderful quilt! It is well deserving of the Blue Ribbon. And, it should be a healing help for your friend. Every word translates to FEEL THE LOVE. Tonya sent me to see your site. I am glad you took those steps to improvisation. Your efforts are terrific!
I love this quilt, wish I would have known it was hanging at the NJ Fair I would have went! I have tonya's book and have always wanted to make a quilt with words I am impressed!
I love your quilt. I want to try some improv quilting and would love to share the photo posted on Tonya Ricucci's blog on my blog: www.threadridinghood.com . The quilt is beautiful! If you could email me to let me know if I could that would be great. Thanks! Email: sherri at thedesigncell dot com
