Happy to be Scrappy

Hello Beloveds:

I am working on a quilt potentially to be entered into the 2013 NJ State Fair.  It started out as scraps from another project.

Wonky Shoo Fly

They are wonky Shoo Fly blocks a la Gwen Marston in Librated Qultmaking II.  There is a tutorial here.  I'm playing around with the layout.  Here are some options:

BorderRedux
Option A
or

Border
Option B
Any thoughts or suggestions? ~ksp

I like A! It feels like the blocks have room to breathe. Gorgeous colors!

I like B. It has that modern feel to it. Welcome back.

Here' a thought: use some more of those colored squares instead of the black. I like the openess of A but it seems incomplete. Put the squares wherever a cornerstone would be.

I like B but I would love to see a border of small ShooFlys or some other block to give it an extra pop of color.

Love the fabric you are using!
